We would like to introduce a new project – „Empowered young people experiencing social exclusion in Anykščiai, Zarasai and Švenčionys district municipalities”. The project will be implemented by the VšĮ „Sustainable Development Projects”, together with project partners, VšĮ „Anykščiai Youth Entrepreneurship Center” and the Turmanto Association of the Russian Community, in the municipalities of Anykščiai, Zarasai, and Švenčionys.
The goal of the project is to provide the youth experiencing social exclusion with the necessary knowledge and skills to become full-fledged, entrepreneurial and active citizens and help them create and implement social business ideas in their local communities.
Project objectives:
- To select and bring together the youth experiencing social exclusion for project activities in the project municipalities.
- To provide the youth experiencing social exclusion with social skills and common abilities to be social, socially responsible and civic-minded residents of the project municipalities.
- To develop the social entrepreneurship skills of the youth experiencing social exclusion and help them create and implement social innovations in their local communities.
The first informational project events will take place soon, where the project activities and the opportunity to participate will be fully introduced!
