On October 25, 2023, the closing event of Project No. K2-O4-IP-V-018 occurred, during which the project implementers reviewed the project’s outcomes in the Anykščiai District Municipality. The project coordinator and participants shared their impressions about their involvement in the project activities.
Representatives from non-governmental organizations, the Anykščiai District Local Action Group, local communities, and youth discussed the project’s benefits to the community and potential continuity of the project within the framework of other projects/financial sources.
Project outcomes in the Anykščiai District Municipality:
3 young people found summer employment.
1 young person is preparing to start a social business.
Improvement in the level of economic knowledge among young people, and they plan to participate in the Junior Achievement education program.
Strengthened bond between young people and the local community (planned joint events such as workshops on entrepreneurship during Kaziukas Fair, upcycling workshops, and community meetings).
Ongoing youth sessions with the project psychologist in another project.
